Each year at this time the Kiwanis Club of Kirkland (KCK) sponsors a donation drive for Eastside Baby Corner (EBC). Serving a broad area in east King County, EBC is the major source of baby food, formula, diapers, cribs and car seats for ten local food banks. EBC’s goal is to support parents who are trying hard to give their children a better life and for the babies and children who need a full tummy, a warm coat and a safe ride home. With your help we can help EBC continue to accomplish their motto of “helping over 500 children every week”.
This year the Kiwanis donation drive runs from now through December 14th. The drop off location for donations is Merrill Gardens of Kirkland, located at 201 Kirkland Avenue, Kirkland, WA 98033. KCK is grateful to Merrill Gardens for it’s generosity in allowing us to use their facility as our drop off location.
Currently, our highest donation needs are powdered formula or baby food, diapers (especially newborn) and pull ups, blankets and bedding, long sleeved shirts size 3-6, onesies and blanket sleepers, toys for infants and 2-6 Year olds, high chairs, strollers, shoes (especially boys sizes 9-13 and size 3-4 adult), pajamas for boys and girls, sizes 4-14, art supplies, bikes, trikes, and helmets.
