Share your ideas on how to improve Kirkland’s Waverly Beach Park at October 23 Open House

The City of Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department invites citizens to review a draft renovation plan for Waverly Beach Park at an Open House on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Hall, 203 Market Street.  Citizens can drop by to meet with Kirkland Park Board members, parks staff, and design consultants to review the draft long range renovation plan as well as suggest priorities for initial improvements to the popular waterfront park. A first phase of construction is tentatively scheduled for fall of 2014.  The project is funded in part by the 2012 Kirkland Parks Levy.  For more information contact Michael Cogle, Deputy Director of Parks and Community Services, at or 425-587-3310.  Visit and search “Waverly Beach Park Renovation” for project updates.
