Kirkland Arts Commission seeks grant applications by Oct. 11 to promote arts, culture, heritage


The Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission seeks innovative and creative ideas that showcase Kirkland’s arts, culture, and heritage.  Artists and arts organizations who have a unique proposal that promotes performance art, literary art, and other artistic ventures are encouraged to apply.  Proposals are due by 4 p.m. on October 11, 2013. The Commission has $2,500 available in funding. Proposed activities must occur within Kirkland city limits and occur before December 15, 2013.  The grant application form is available online at or by contacting Philly Hoshko at or 425-587-3013.  The Commission will consider all proposals and make determinations at its October 16, 2013 meeting to be held at Kirkland City Hall, 123 5th Avenue, Rose Hill Room, 4 to 6 p.m.
