Children living in homeless shelters have a reason to celebrate on Saturday, August 17 as Seattle party and event planning startup, PlaceFull, teams up with SkyMania Trampolines to host a party for Birthday Dreams, a local non-profit dedicated to providing birthday parties for kids living in Puget Sound homeless shelters.
Admission to the event is $15 per child and includes 90 minutes of trampoline jumping, a hot dog from Pioneer Grill, and a cupcake from PinkaBella Cupcakes. There will also be giveaways including gift certificates to Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, The Experience Music Project, AAA, and an Xbox 360 with Kinect Package. Every dollar of the admission price goes to Birthday Dreams to help them fund more parties for children in need.
PlaceFull is a “Booking as a Service” provider for Merchants who use the PlaceFull Platform to create listings that are then displayed on their own website, their Facebook page and the PlaceFull.com marketplace. Listings can be anything including birthday party rentals, camp registration, memberships, space rental and services.
Birthday Dreams, the only charity of its kind in the Puget Sound, has thrown over 1,500 birthday parties for children living in homeless shelters since 2009.
