The 2013 Private Amendment Request project, which includes three citizen initiated proposals. If approved, they would result in amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map or Text. The three requests are: · A proposal by EvergreenHealth to rezone property from TL 1B to TL 3D to bring Evergreen owned property into hospital oriented zoning; · A proposal by Chaffey Building Group to rezone property from RSA 4 to RMA 5.0 or 3.6 to allow multifamily development · A proposal by Mark Colon to change the zoning regulations and Comprehensive Plan policies to allow a drive through restaurant.
On March 14, 2013, the Planning Commission will hold a study session to consider the Private Amendment Requests and make a recommendation to City Council as to whether they are eligible to proceed to Phase II of the Private Amendment Request (PAR) process. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Kirkland City Hall Council Chambers, at 123 5th Avenue. The meeting is open to the public, and public comments are welcome.
