Since February, PSE has been working hard studying the route alternatives recommended by the project’s stakeholder advisory group. PSE considered the constructability and feasibility of each route alternative, and in some cases found some challenges which have lead to more conversations, research and routing modifications.
PSE will soon meet with the advisory group to discuss the route alternatives study and resulting modifications to the alternatives. PSE will then host two community meetings in June to share the three revised route alternatives and gather community input.
Stakeholder Advisory Group Meeting – May 16
The advisory group will meet with PSE on Wednesday, May 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lake Washington Institute of Technology in West Building, Room 401 (11605 132nd Ave NE, Kirkland). The meeting agenda is available on the project webpage, and you are invited to attend and observe this meeting.
Community Meetings on the Three Alternatives Planned for Late June
PSE anticipates hosting two community meetings in late June to share the three route alternatives with the community and gather feedback. Look for more information over the next few weeks on the project webpage and in the mail.
Feedback from the community meetings will be used by the advisory group and PSE when they reconvene in July to develop thepreferred route recommendation. Once the preferred route has been identified, PSE will be back to the community to share the route and gather feedback.
