Vacancy on Kirkland’s Park Board

The City of Kirkland Park Board has one adult vacancy and interested residents are encouraged to apply by Friday, June 10 at 4 p.m.   To view the volunteer job description and to download the application form, visit the Board and Commission Recruitment webpage at  Applications are also available at City Hall, 123 5th Avenue or by calling the City Clerk’s Office at 425-587-3190.  The Kirkland Park Board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at City Hall.  Members of boards and commissions provide an invaluable service to the City of Kirkland as they advise the Kirkland City Council and City staff on a wide variety of subjects by making recommendations on important policy matters.   The Park Board advises the City Council on development, acquisitions, and operation of Kirkland's parks and recreational facilities.
