Lake Washington Technical College's Board of Trustees is seeking public input to develop a profile and job description for a permanent college President. They are hosting an open public forum to learn from the Kirkland community as to what we think are the desired qualifications for a new President.

Re: Community Forum at Lake Washington Technical College
The Lake Washington Technical College’s Board of Trustees is asking for your assistance. We would like you to join us at our *Kirkland campus at 3:30 on Monday, May 23rd in the Auditorium Room 404 in the West Building*.
As you may know, Dr. Sharon McGavick recently retired as the President of the College. The Board is in the process of developing the search criteria for the College’s next permanent President, and we would like your help and input in defining the desired qualifications for a new President.
The Board is looking at the role LTWC plays in our community and the ways the College helps fuel economic growth in our region today. We also are looking ahead to what our community will need from LWTC five and 10 years from now. With that long-term focus, we will develop a presidential profile and a job description for a permanent college President. We are looking for the best person, with the right set of skills, to lead the College from where we are today to where the community needs us to be in the future.
Your input is important to us. That is why we are holding an open, public forum to hear from our constituents, our customers. Your voice would be important at the public forum. We sincerely hope you can join us.
On behalf of our entire board, we thank you for your past support of LWTC and your interest in helping us serve the community. We hope to see you on May 23rd . Please RSVP to Heather DeGraw, email@example.com.
