This Friday, April 8, the Kirkland Art Walk switches from the second Thursday to 2nd Friday of each month.
The Kirkland Artwalk is a free, self-guided, public art phenomenon which brings together art lovers and community friends to the ever evolving downtown Kirkland waterfront neighborhood. With exciting and unique offerings around every corner, downtown celebrates each and every month on the 2nd Friday from 6pm-9pm.
Kirkland Artwalk Locations include the following galleries and art supporting businesses
Blaubak Gallery – 15 international and local artists, artist meet & greet, and complimentary food, wine, cocktails, and catering
Gallery Wine – 3 local artists, special artwalk wine tasting, complimentary appetizers
George’s Restaurant – 1 local artist, artwalk drink specials
Howard/Mandville Gallery – over 60 contemporary artists and sculpter, and a live art demo by Teresa Saia
Jennifer Winter Photography Studio – Local celebrity and heirloom portrait photographer showcasing her latest series of favorites, complimentary beverages
Kirkland Arts Center – Group Exhibition expressing the cause & effect of cultural intersections
Kirkland Painting Company – Business owner is also a décor painter puts new works they have created on display each month
Lakeshore Gallery – Group exhibition of local artists wit
Merril Gardens – 1 headlining artist on display, artist meet & greet, complimentary beverages
Park Lane Gallery – 40 local artists on display, artist meet & greet, complimentary beverages
Soul Ease Yoga Spa – 2 local artists on display, complimentary beverages, special artwalk guest coupons
Zoka Coffee – exhibiting 2 modern artist masters from the Seattle area
Each location will be representing artists of their choosing which will be rotated out monthly.
