COMING SOON to Carillon Point: LE GRAND 'bistro americain' - an upscale casual dining steakhouse and raw bar with a distinct French accent.
LE GRAND BISTRO AMERICAIN will be opening at Carillon Point in Kirkland in December. LE GRAND is a casual French restaurant with a full service bar and 140 seats, serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. It will also maintain an active, adult bar scene. Plans are for the restaurant to have a welcoming, easy-going and warm atmosphere with a touch of sophistication with dark woods, tiled floors, a zinc bar top and large mirrors.
Their menu includes classic French Bistro favorites, as well as modern takes on the classics. They will be cooking at a very high level, but the place is casual, approachable, and easy on the wallet. They will be making their own bread for the table, their own sausages and charcuterie, traditional french ice cream, a full raw bar, and everything, of course, from scratch.
LE GRANDE is owned and will be operated by Ted Furst, long time chef, consultant, and restauranteur in the Seattle area.
