Kirkland Police Arrest Trespasser of $3.2 Million House

Kirkland Police News Release:

The Kirkland Police Department investigation of a complaint about the ownership of a house in the 400 block of 8th Avenue West has led to the arrest of a 30-year-old female who took up residence in recent days.  The occupant alleged to the Police and neighbors that she owned the home.  A thorough investigation of tax logs, utility bills and asset records refuted that claim.  First Citizens Bank, the lawful owner of the home, sought the assistance of the Kirkland Police Department to have the female removed from the property.   On June 15, the Kirkland Police Department arrived to the residence with bank officials to assist in returning the home back over to the bank.  When the police arrived, the female was not in the house; but she arrived shortly after and was arrested for criminal trespass and booked into the City of Kirkland jail.  For more information about this incident please contact Detective Allan O’Neill Kirkland Police Department at 425-587-3502 or email
