20th Annual Gala & Auction "Building Kirkland...Building Community"
Friday, May 7, 2010, 5:30pm-11pm, Carillon Point Executive Office Suite
The Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 20th Annual Gala & Auction on Friday, May 7th. The theme is "Building Kirkland...Building Community" and will include a silent and short live auction with a fund-a-need to support program to help Kirkland businesses.
Each year, the Chamber selects a non-profit organization to highlight during their Annual Dinner in May. Usually this is an opportunity to showcase some of the great local projects the organization is working on and also to raise a few dollars for its purposes. This year they are going to depart from their tradition a little bit by going back to the basics for their fund-a-need organization and are asking members to raise their paddles for our local businesses that are struggling during these economic times.
The Chamber board will seriously look at the benefits that can be provided to help make sure that businesses grow strong. Whether it is more networking opportunities, assistance with governmental regulations, marketing assistance, or simply help with understanding the benefits of businesses working together, the Chamber Board recognizes that it can do more to help Kirkland get through this economic crises.
The evening will also include entertainment, music, dancing and games. There will be displays detailing various developments around for Kirkland as well as the wonderful charities and non-profits that support our community. $100/person. For reservations contact Judi Meek at the Kirkland Chamber office at 425-822-7066 or firstname.lastname@example.org
