Trellis_mar10_2 A VinTimate Event with Winemaker Jean-Francois Pellet of Pepper Bridge Winery & Executive Chef Brian Scheehser of Trellis

Thursday, April 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the monthly VinTimate series returns at the Heathman Hotel. Featured is the highly regarded winemaker of Pepper Bridge Winery, Jean-Francois Pellet pouring 2007 Amavi Cellars Syrah, 2007 Pepper Bridge Merlot, 2006 Pepper Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon, 2006 Pepper Bridge Reserve, 2006 Pepper Bridge Pepper Bridge Vineyard and 2007 Pepper Bridge Seven Hills Vineyard. Pepper Bridge is a family-owned estate winery whose mission is to make ultra premium, world-class Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines that showcase its Walla Walla Valley estate vineyards.

Executive Chef Brian Scheehser will be serving tastes of Trellis, showcasing his talent for allowing the quality of ingredients to shine, and specifically created to complement each Pepper Bridge wine.

Courtesy of the Kirkland Cultural Council, local artist Kent Lovelace will display and discuss his paintings on metal with oil glazes - a technique dating from the 15th Century Renaissance in Europe, but uncommon in contemporary painting. Lovelace combines the reflective quality of the copper with the vehicle of oil to create atmospheric paintings with a strong physical presence.

Classical guitarist Graham Banfield, a graduate of the Cornish College for the Arts (BM with distinction) will be performing throughout the event.
