Kirkland Summer Concert Series Needs Sponsors and Donations

The 2010 Kirkland Summer Concert Series will kick off the season with 16 concerts during July and August. But they need to raise about $9,000 more in donations. Last November, the City of Kirkland cancelled the concerts they’ve been organizing for 32 years due to budget constraints. Local businesses and citizens have rallied together to save the concerts and they need your help.
Donations Needed
The fundraising for this event is well underway, however, the Kirkland Summer Concert Series needs to raise about $9,000 more. These concerts are funded by our local businesses and organizations. If your business or organization is able, please consider helping to support this summer-long series of community events. All contributions are tax deductible. You can donate online at
The following local businesses have already generously contributed to the series: Conover Insurance & Liberty Northwest, Evergreen Healthcare, Kirkland Kiwanis, Trader Joe’s, ParentMap, and Musica Entertainment. Interested businesses please contact for sponsorship information!

Please support these local businesses which have generously contributed to this summer concert series.

All concerts will be open to the public and performed at Marina Park on Kirkland's waterfront. There will be eight Tuesday morning concerts for children and eight Thursday evening concerts for all ages, featuring folk rock, thythm and blues, pop, bluegrass and swing music.
Please note that the children’s concerts will be on TUESDAYS this year, instead of Wednesdays (Marina Park is now the home of the Kirkland Wednesday Market, children's concerts are now on Tuesdays).
