Trellis announces its first VinTimate event, March 18, 6:30-8:30 p.m. This monthly series pairs premium wines selected by a presenting winemaker with specific hors d’oeuvres and small plates, engaging art and music in a relaxed reception within the Heathman lobby. Interspersed with food and wine, a featured local artist displays works and shares related thoughts and inspirations.
The March 18 VinTimate features highly regarded Executive Winemaker and DeLille Cellars owner, Chris Upchurch, pouring 2008 Chaleur Estate Blanc, 2008 Rousanne, 2007 Doyenne AIX, 2007 Doyenne Signature Syrah, 2007 Chaleur Estate. Trellis Executive Chef Brian Scheehser will serve Trellis tastes matched to each DeLille wine. Local Artist Fred Lisaius, presented by the Kirkland Cultural Commission, displays his American Luminist-influenced paintings reflecting themes of love, mystery and discovery.
