Eastside Science Café Second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Wilde Rover, 111 Central Way, Kirkland

Pacific Science Center’s Science Café program, currently held monthly in Queen Anne, is growing to reach new audiences. Thanks to a generous grant from the Institute of Museum Services (IMLS), Pacific Science Center is thrilled to present an additional Science Café location on the Eastside.

The new Café will launch Monday, January 11, at 7 p.m. at the Wilde Rover in downtown Kirkland. Each Science Café event begins with a local scientist presenting a backbone of science related to their field, followed by a short ten minute break for table discussion and beverage refills. The evening concludes with group conversation and a question and answer period.
