DelBene to Hold Roundtable on Internet of Things in Kirkland

Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) will host a roundtable discussion Wednesday with Puget Sound companies and University of Washington professors on the Internet of Things (IoT).
Earlier this year, DelBene started the congressional IoT Caucus with Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-49) to educate lawmakers and the public on the development of Internet-connected devices – from cars to Crock-Pots – and the privacy concerns that arise with technological advances.
On Wednesday, DelBene and INRIX will host the roundtable discussion on what businesses and government can do to help protect consumer privacy. At the beginning of the event, INRIX will also show the Congresswoman some of their technologies used in cars.
