We spotted these "I [bike] Kirkland" coasters at Metropolitan Market the other day sharing a shelf with other local area-themed items such as Seahawks swag and one of the most interesting uses of image manipulation, souvenirs of "The Great Wheel" in Seattle.
For an enormous waterfront eyesore that opened on June 29, 2012, The Great Wheel has done an impressive job of crafting it image by imagining a history and lore in which the rotating knockoff of the London Eye had been a local landmark for generations.
Well done on the marketing, I guess. I hope it helps sell tickets.
Now then, who wants a gondola in Kirkland? ;-)
