Watercress Vietnamese Kitchen (89 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland, WA 98033) quietly opened in December. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes, a few of which have become favorites in our family: Prawn Salad Rolls, Pho Ga and rather oddly enough, the Artichoke Tea.
Watercress Vietnamese Kitchen boasts views Marina Park at the former location of Top Shelf Broiler. Prior occupants of the space were Olive You (briefly) and Marina Park Grill. The location has a large outdoor patio which is a magnet for tourists when the sun is shining.
This will be the second location for Watercress, the other being at 5041 Rainier Ave S. in Seattle.
A ribbon cutting event will take place at 5:30pm on Wednesday. Watercress Vietnam Kitchen will be presenting a Dragon Show and providing finger foods, refreshments, and door prizes to four lucky winners.
