Wyraqocha? Why Not! Peruvian Kitchen Opens Monday in Downtown Kirkland [u]

The long awaited opening of Wyraqocha Peruvian Kitchen (110 Central Way, Kirkland, WA) is over. On Monday night Kirkland's newest eatery opens its doors to the public at 6pm. The intimate setting boasts an open kitchen, seating for about 50 and a cocktail bar serving up exotic concoctions designed to compliment the vibrant flavors coming out of the kitchen.

The restaurant will serve both lunch and dinner.

Update: here is a photo of the menu.

Last Friday night, Wyraqocha invited us to share a few of their dishes and we were impressed with the combining of fresh, local ingredients with the Peruvian dishes. Kirklanders have waited many months for the opening of this restaurant and we can't wait to try more of the menu (hint: the halibut ceviche is a real winner).

We look forward to bumping into our friends as we sample the menu, sip cocktails and enjoy the hospitality of chef Lia Horna, general manager Cyndy Almonte and their team.

We welcome Wyraqocha to Kirkland!
