Woodmark Hotel’s Easter Celebration

Approximately 3,000 Easter eggs speckled the lawn at the Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club and Spa for the third annual Easter Egg Scramble on March 30, 2013.

Guests enjoyed visits with the Easter bunny, face painting and an all-out egg hunt at Third Annual Easter Celebration

In a flurry of activity, children of all ages scoured the grounds at the Woodmark Hotel, Yacht Club & Spa to collect 3,000 eggs filled with candy, stickers and toys. The hotel, located on the shores of Lake Washington on Carillon Point just 15 minutes east of Seattle, celebrated Easter with its largest Easter Egg Scramble to date on Saturday, March 30.

The hotel welcomed more than 600 participants to the complimentary event which kicked off with the Easter Egg Scramble and continued with face painting, arts and crafts, and a chance to meet the Easter bunny. Photos with live baby chicks were provided by Carol Hook Photography for $5. While kids filled their baskets with eggs of all shapes, sizes and colors, guests were treated to complimentary doughnuts provided by Bellevue Christian School and parents sipped mimosas and bloody Marys from the Woodmark Hotel.

“It was so much fun to watch the children’s excitement as they lined up for the scramble and raced around the lawn to collect eggs,” said John Murphy, general manager of the Woodmark. “Their eyes lit up as they met the Easter bunny and petted baby chicks, and it was a perfect way to kick off the spring season.”

The Woodmark partnered with several community organizations to make the Easter Egg Scramble possible, including event sponsors Influence Magazines, Whole Pets Woodinville and Kirkland Performance Center; photography by Alicia Mae Photography; portraits by Carol Hook Photography; face painting by Eckland Family Dental; doughnuts by Bellevue Christian School, and eggs provided by Influence Magazines and Whole Pets Woodinville.
