Kirkland City Council is a non-partisan position. Are you a member of a political party – if so, with which party are you registered? I am not a member of any party.

How would you describe your political views? I am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.

Why have you chosen to live in Kirkland? In all my travels around the world, I have found the people, the location, and the schools make Kirkland a great place to live.

What do you hope to achieve, if elected to the City Council in 2009?

As a council member I see sustainable city budgets, an off-leash dog park, and a better relationship between the city government and the citizens of our great city.  I will also help develop a partnership between Kirkland businesses and the citizens where more of our local dollars are spent here in Kirkland.

You are asking the people of Kirkland for our vote. Why should we vote for you?

NO NEW TAXES!  Everyone is hurting; we must stop this continued tax and spend mentality of our current city government. We must find a way to a sustainable city budget.  My commitment is to the citizens of Kirkland.  I have no special interests other than the citizens.  I will work everyday to make Kirkland the best city in the state.
