UPDATE: At the December 16, 2008 Kirkland City Council meeting, The City Council followed the recommendation of the Planning Commission and approved Touchstone’s Private Amendment Request for an eight story mixed-use redevelopment of Kirkland Parkplace. You may read more about it here.

Kirkland Views asked Touchstone and Kirkland Citizens for Responsible Development to participate in a three-part series to address issues regarding the proposed redevelopment of Kirkland Parkplace. Both parties agreed to a predetermined set of rules as submitted their articles according to schedule. The series has spawned quite a few lively comments and it has answered a great many questions for the people of Kirkland. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Point/Counterpoint series.
