Kirkland’s Salary Commission holds public meeting Aug. 27 to discuss Mayor and Council Members’ salaries

The City of Kirkland Salary Commission is holding a public meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 at City Hall in the Council Chamber to receive public input and discuss possible adjustments to the salaries of the Mayor and Council Members.  Public comments can be given at the meeting or submitted in writing to: Salary Commission, c/o City Attorney’s Office, 123 5thAve., Kirkland, Wash. 98033 or emailed to rjenkinson@kirklandwa.gov prior to 5:00 p.m. on Aug. 27, 2013. If the Salary Commission elects to change the salaries of the Mayor and Council Members the salary adjustment is filed with the City Clerk and automatically becomes effective.

 

The current salary for the Mayor is $1,400/month and the current salary for the Council Members in $1,100/month.
