CERT Victims Needed April 28th for Disaster Drill

Source: City of Kirkland

The current CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) class is nearing the completion of their 8 week course. In order to graduate they have to perform in a simulated disaster drill.  Victims are needed so students can practice their skills which include search and rescue, medical triage and disaster first aid. With your help this class will provide our neighborhoods and businesses with 25 additional residents trained to help first responders in the event of a disaster.
Disaster takes place Sunday, April 28th, from 1:00 to 8:30 pm at Peter Kirk Community Center. Snacks, beverages, pizza and gratitude  will be provided along with the fun as our professional moulage artist transforms you with realistic injuries (lots of fake blood)—or you can just use your acting abilities.
Ages 16 to 18 years old need a consent form signed by parents. Ages 14 to 16 may participate with a parent present.
