Arrests made and Narcotics recovered from known “Problem House”

On Monday evening April 15th, the North Sound Metro SWAT Team, which includes the Kirkland PD SWAT Team, served a search warrant on a residence in the 8000 block of NE 142nd street, Finn Hill.  The search warrant was obtained by the Kirkland Investigations Unit after they were able to link this residence and several known occupants to evidence recovered at a separate residential burglary in Kirkland.  The warrant was served without incident and there were no injuries reported.  Multiple subjects were detained inside the residence, and three adults were arrested on outstanding warrants, I.D. Theft and Forgery charges.  Suspected Narcotics and additional evidence to other criminal activity was located and processed for this on-going investigation.  Kirkland PD Detectives are handling the follow-up investigation of this incident and the individuals detained and arrested.  In addition to this search warrant service, our Patrol Division has been engaged in an over yearlong investigation of this “Problem House” and the individuals who frequent this residence and live there.  We would also like to thank the residents of this neighborhood for their continued support and assistance with this investigation.
