The Seattle Foundation Awards KITH $10,000 to Help Homeless Families

KITH is honored to have been selected by The Seattle Foundation to receive a $10,000 grant as we partner to ensure a bright future for all people who call this region home.

KITH was selected by The Seattle Foundation for a grant because of the effectiveness of KITH’s programs which help families successfully transition from homelessness to stability and self-sufficiency. KITH’s work aligns closely with The Seattle Foundation’s philanthropic agenda—A Healthy Community—which supports a complex fabric of issues including arts and culture, basic needs, economy, education, environment, health and wellness, and neighborhoods and communities.

The Seattle Foundation's mission is to foster powerful and rewarding philanthropy to make King County a stronger, more vibrant community for all. The Seattle Foundation is making the greater Seattle community a vital and healthy place to live, driving positive change on a range of local issues. KITH assists individuals and families on the Eastside who are facing a crisis of homelessness by providing housing and services to help them become stable and self-sufficient.
