[scrollGallery id=208] Be sure not to miss the biggest Kirkland festival in a generation -- Kirkland SummerFest, today in downtown Kirkland from 11am - 11pm.
Come see over twenty bands performing on 4 stages, Art in the Park, 16 food trucks, the Rotary Duck Dash, Radio Disney, Kids Corner, Beer & Wine Garden, Plein Air artists, kids activities and performers, and much, much more.
All in support of art, music, food, culture, and support of our local businesses.
Opening night at Kirkland SummerFest was a smash with beautiful weather for the crowd of over 600 attending Seattle Shakespeare's The Winters Tale at Shakespeare in the Park. The Parnassus Project presented period chamber music as well. The Beer & Wine Garden, sponsored by The Wilde Rover, The Lodge and Zero One Vintners opened to a flurry of guests enjoying wine tasting from four Kirkland wineries (over twenty wines to taste!) and over twenty micro beers served by Wilde Rover, The Lodge and George's Place. Thank you to the Kirkland Kiwanis Club for volunteering too!
Please visit KirklandSummerFest.com for the complete schedule of events.
Remember to please walk, bike, boat, paddle board, bus, carpool and Segway to SummerFest if you can.
And please don't forget to bring a can of food for Hopelink to one of the Information Booths.
Your support is greatly appreciated by the scores of SummerFest volunteers working today and by The Lake Washington Schools Foundation, our beneficiary.
See you at SummerFest!
