Kudos Kirkland volunteers restore walking path working side by side with Public Works

[scrollGallery id=202] On Thursday, thirteen Kudos Kirkland volunteers helped Public Works remove 300 feet of rusty, bramble-covered, litter-strewn chain link fencing along a public pathway near downtown Kirkland. Removing the fencing will make the pathway more attractive and easier for crews to maintain.

Just how do you remove chain link fencing? With clippers, a backhoe, and a lot of fun!

Please join us next week, when the fun will continue: Thursday, March 15 8-10 am Park along 5th Ave near 10th St (behind the Post Office) Public Works will provide tools, but consider bringing your own pruners or wire cutters

Well done, Kudos volunteers!
