Longtime local favorite purveyor of Christmas Trees moves from Lake Washington Blvd. to across the street from Juanita Beach.
The Kiwanis Club of Kirkland was forced to move from it’s long-standing Lake Washington Blvd location to a new site across from Juanita Beach. They are one of the oldest and largest service organizations in Kirkland, and the annual Christmas Tree sale is their largest fund raising event.
Being an all volunteer organization, 100% of the net sales of Christmas trees, nuts and candy go directly toward helping children in Kirkland. The Kiwanis Club benefits the City of Kirkland in variety of ways including scholarships, free orthodontic care through the Keller Memorial Fund, school supplies to disadvantaged children, supporting KITH, and Eastside Victims of Domestic Violence in providing temporary and affordable housing, and much more.
They volunteer their time, rain or shine, to man the Christmas Tree Lot. If you get a chance, stop by and let them know you appreciate all they do. And maybe even buy yourself a new tree!
The Kiwanis Club of Kirkland Christmas Tree Lot will be open starting on Friday, November 25... the day after Thanksgiving.
