Holiday Home Tour benefits Assistance League of the Eastside

Assistance League of the Eastside is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs to make a positive difference in the lives of children and adults touched by hardship or violence.

Their signature fundraiser, the Celebrations Holiday Home Tour, is scheduled for Friday, December 9th from 10am to 7pm in Kirkland. Celebrations is a self-guided tour of local homes beautifully decorated for the holidays. Following the huge popularity of last year’s event, the tour is once more focused in Kirkland. Ticket holders will be able to tour six unique homes and enjoy an after-tour party at Sur la table in Kirkland.

They sell about 1000 tickets annually and the money raised goes directly back into their programs. Assistance League of the Eastside is actively encouraging all ticket holders to “make a day of it” by shopping and dining in Kirkland too!

Since 1992 they have:

  • clothed over 26,000 students in the Lake Washington, Northshore and Bellevue school districts
  • assisted over 13,000 survivors of sexual assault statewide
  • supported over 300 King County families beginning a new life free of violence
  • and returned over $3 million back into the local community RIGHT HERE ON THE EASTSIDE!!
