City Responds to Questions from Finn Hill Neighbors

At Wednesday night’s Special City Council meeting with the Finn Hill neighborhood, the City released written responses to the almost 50 questions submitted by residents. The questions dealt with many different topics, such as budget and finances, planning, police, fire, and public works. Then for over an hour, neighbors were able to ask additional questions at the meeting. Mayor McBride acted as the meeting facilitator at the town hall style meeting by calling on people interested in speaking and then directing their questions to Council members or City staff. It is estimated that over 100 people were in attendance.

The next Finn Hill neighborhood meeting is planned for November 30th at Finn Hill Junior High. The tentative agenda includes the approval of neighborhood bylaws and election of board members.
