Local singer, Tiger Budbill competes on Fox's The X Factor

For most of us, spotting a friend on national television can be quite a surprise. When a reader told us about the exciting night she saw her friend, Tiger Budbill on The X Factor, we had to look him up. The X Factor is the follow-on television program from American Idol's Simon Cowell. The program airs auditions of talented singers from around the country and this season includes Tiger Budbill, a local known to many Kirklanders.

Tiger has worked in and around Kirkland for many years. Most recently, Tiger has been found at Tikis on Kirkland Avenue. The 42 year-old has had many jobs in the area over the years including DaVinci's Flying Pizza. If you were in Kirkland during the era of Hypercolor clothing, you'll no doubt remember DaVinci's. According to his Facebook page, Tiger currently lives in Bothell.

The X Factor airs Wednesdays on Fox at 8pm. Tiger is competing against others on the X Factor for a grand prize of five million dollars. "This is a blessing put on a silver platter for me." says Tiger in his X Factor Bootcamp video.
