A bicyclist was struck and killed from behind by a pickup truck Friday afternoon in Kirkland, police said.
The fatal accident happened at 3:45 p.m. in the 8600 block of Northeast Juanita Drive, as the cyclist was riding north.
Medics tried to revive the cyclist, but he had severe injuries and died at the scene. The man had no identification but appeared to be in his 40s or 50s, said Det. Allan O'Neill.
