Bold Hat Responds to Critical Letter

The following letter was sent to Kirkland Views in response to a letter to the editor posted yesterday -Editor

Dear City of Kirkland,

Thank you so much for an amazing Kirkland Uncorked! Despite the rainy weather, we welcomed guests from all over the region to view our beautiful city and take part in Kirkland's signature summer festival. Thank you for all of your dedication and support of the event and its beneficiary, the Hope Heart Institute!

This past weekend, we welcomed just over 3,500 guests in the Tasting Garden and over 15,000 guests in the Promenade. Over 15,000 tastes of wine were served and paired up with food from Kirkland area restaurants that introduced or reconnected with Kirkland residents and out-of-towners. In the Promenade, the Kirkland Arts Center curated over 40 artist booths and hosted the Arts for All area along with a handful of Kirkland arts organizations.

If anyone has any comments, questions or concerns, we would be more than happy to sit down with you over a cup of coffee and talk Kirkland Uncorked. Again, we appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for the event and are thrilled to be a part of such an amazing community.

Sincerely,

Phil Megenhardt Creative Director and President Bold Hat Productions phil@boldhatproductions.com
