Kudos to Volunteers Who Removed Hundreds of Cigarette Butts from Kirkland Sidewalks

This past week, volunteers with Kudos Kirkland, a volunteer organization of Kirkland residents focused on stewardship of our community, gathered at Zoka Coffee for an early morning meeting after which they dispersed to clean up downtown. With their handy-dandy "crack hoe" in hand, the Kudos team was able to dig up and remove literally hundreds of cigarette butts lodged in cracks of the sidewalks.

We want to express our thanks to Vince Isaacson of Lake Street Diamond Company and A Suraphong Liengboonlertchai of Simplicity Decor for their ceaseless efforts to maintain their storefronts and improve how our city looks.

We'd like to say thank you to the Kudos Kirkland volunteers and we invite you to join the effort!
