Is there a teacher that has had a powerful impact on your children? An innovative educational program that serves the students of our community? Nominate educators for the KCTS9 Golden Apple Awards

KCTS9 is accepting nominations for the 2011 Golden Apple Awards to honor successful teaching models and programs among Washington state educators. Since 1992, awards recipients are featured in a TV special that will air on public television stations across the state.

Do you know someone who deserves a Golden Apple?

Is there a teacher that has had a powerful impact on your children? An innovative educational program that serves the students of your community? There are thousands of educators, volunteers, community organizations, and businesses working to make Washington State schools exciting places to learn. If you know of a person or program making a difference, consider nominating them for a Golden Apple Award.

Teachers, volunteers, administrators, staff, community organizations and local businesses are all eligible for nominations.
