The Lake Washington Schools Foundation’s sixth annual A Legacy for Learning luncheon will take place on Wednesday, April 20, at Juanita High School in Kirkland. The luncheon raises money for Foundation programs, which benefit students throughout the Lake Washington School District. This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Bonnie J. Dunbar, former President and CEO of the Museum of Flight and an astronaut with five space missions.
Doors open for check-in at 11 a.m. The luncheon and program start at 11:30 a.m. and end promptly at 12:30. Lunch is complimentary; there is a suggested minimum donation of $150. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available.
