Adult and Youth Vacancies Available

The City of Kirkland seeks applicants for an adult position and a youth position on its Cultural Council.  The Cultural Council promotes strategic planning and development for arts, culture and heritage in the community, advises the City Council regarding public art acquisitions, and advises the City Council, City Manager, and the City Staff regarding those issues referred to them by the City Council.  Interested citizens are invited to apply for an appointment.  There are different eligibility requirements for each of the two positions.  Completed applications must be received by the City Clerk prior to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010.  More information about these vacancies and applications may be obtained at the information counter at City Hall, 123 Fifth Avenue; by telephone at (425) 587-3190; or on the City’s website at www.ci.kirkland.wa.us.
