City studying zoning changes to support Transit Oriented Development at South Kirkland Park and Ride

The City of Kirkland is now studying amendments to the Zoning Code to implement the policies in the Lakeview Neighborhood Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan in support of Transit-Oriented-Development (TOD) at the South Kirkland Park & Ride.

The South Kirkland Park and Ride site is located at the southernmost end of the City, at the intersection of 108th Avenue NE and NE 38th Place. The property is about seven acres in size, with approximately equal portions of the site lying within the cities of Kirkland and Bellevue. The site is currently developed with 603 parking stalls and a transit facility. The property is owned by King County.
