Light up a Life Ceremony on Dec. 1 Honors Memories of Loved Ones

The Spiritual Care Department and Evergreen Hospice will host the Annual Light up a Life Ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1,  in the Evergreen Hospital Medical Center Galleria. The event honors both living and deceased loved ones who have touched our lives with hope, compassion and care. The program includes musical reflections, words of inspiration and a tree lighting ceremony. The Light up a Life holiday tree is a large evergreen, donated to the hospital by the Lions Club of Forks. It is set up in the Galleria Courtyard.

Participants will have a chance to write notes of rememberance to place on the Light up a Life tree. People are encouraged to bring a photograph of their loved one to share during the service. Light refreshments and beverages will be served following the 7:30 p.m. tree lighting.

Please RSVP by calling 425-899-1079 or e-mailing lightupalife@evergreenhealthcare.org. A special ornament  to honor loved ones will be available for a donation. The event itself is free.  Parking at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center is also free.
