Volunteers needed at Milkin House on Veteran’s Day

UPDATED

For the last 10 months, we have worked to rebuild Sgt. Milkin's  home after the tragic and horrific events of July 2006 in which his wife, two young boys and sister in law were brutally murdered in their Kirkland home that was then set on fire and destroyed in an attempt to cover up the crimes.

In honor of Veteran's Day, local veterans, led by veteran Joe Cantwell of CDK Construction (http://cdkconstruction.com/),  are rallying behind Sgt. Milkin in an effort to help us rebuild the garage, finish the basement and do  landscaping. More than 10 local companies and business owners have joined together and generously donated materials to make this happen.  They would like to help bring Sgt. Milkin some peace by completing the home, in memory of his family.

WE NEED YOUR  HELP on Thursday, November 11th at 10:00 a.m. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to join us.  Please come prepared to work outside and bring gloves, rakes, wheelbarrows.  Anything that can be used for this outside work.  Any amount of time you can spend helping us will be appreciated.  Refreshments will be provided!!!!

Please feel free to recruit your friends, family and coworkers to join us!!!

If you are able to join us, please let me know by responding to this  email.

Together we can finish what we started and honor this brave soldier who has lost so much!!!!
