Juanita Beach Park begins to take shape

Juanita Beach is taking shape with the installation of this sculpture. The artist and piece were selected by the Cultural Council and the Park Board.  The sculpture is located near the wetlands on the west side of the park and will have grass and mosses growing along the sides. The large block of limestone came from a quarry in Kansas. Funds for the sculpture came from the one percent of the project cost which is dedicated for the arts.
