There are a host of Halloween events happening around town for the little ones and the not-so-little-ones. These are a few:
The Kirkland Boys & Girls Club (10805 124th Ave. N.E.) is hosting a Halloween Party on October 29th.
There will be a Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be carnival games, arts & crafts, candy and fun. Costumes are welcome. This event is free and for all ages.
Following the Jamboree, the Haunted House opens from 7 p.m. to 11p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Recommended for kids 12 years old and up.
For seven years, local preschoolers have donned clever, imaginative and “oh so cute” costumes for Kirkland’s annual Pee Wee Monster Bash carnival. This year’s event will be held on Friday, October 29 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the North Kirkland Community Center, 12421 103rd Ave NE. Preschoolers age 5 and under will revel in the safe and spirited activities such as swamp fishing, monster bowling, witch hat ring toss, cookie walk, and a movement maze. Prizes will be awarded for everyone.
Tickets are $10 per child and there are a limited number available. Registration is encouraged as this is a sell-out event. For registration and information go to www.kirklandparks.net , call 425-587-3350, or visit the North Kirkland Community Center.
