Lake Washington Physical Therapy opens on Kirkland Avenue

Ben Wobker, a Kirkland resident since 2005, has just opened Lake Washington Physical Therapy located in the heart of downtown Kirkland. Ben previously opened Redmond Physical Therapy but found they wanted to work closer to home so he has just opened the doors at his new location at 209 Kirkland Avenue.

Ben and his wife Sara are very excited to bring rehabilitation services to downtown residents of Kirkland and to the residents of Merrill Gardens (LWPT is located in the Merrill Gardens building).
Ben was raised in Redmond but worked in Kirkland for years as a waiter and bartender. He went to school at the University of Montana and came back to the eastside in 2000 when he worked as a trainer at Lake Washington High School and Redmond High School and volunteered as a football coach and track coach for almost a decade. Ben was recognized by 425 Magazine as Physical Therapist of the year for 2009 and 2010.

Lake Washington Physical Therapy provides extended evening and morning hours for patients and clients. Their new facility and clinic located below Merrill Gardens on Kirkland Avenue provides all the services that patients may need to complete rehabilitation including orthotics, manual therapy, braces, myofascial release and exercise programs. They also offer several unique services which include digital imaging for gait evaluation, dartfish biomechanical analysis, and sport-specific training services. The public is welcome to tour the new facility.
