The following press release is from the Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church: An interfaith gathering to remember the victims of 9/11 and to bring awareness and respect for all religious beliefs will be held at 6:00pm on Saturday, September 11th at the Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirkland. Readings from the Qu’ran will be presented in Arabic and English by members of IMAN Center in Kirkland led by Jawad Khaki, president of IMAN. Rev. Marian Stewart of Northlake will lead the service.
In light of growing intolerance, hatred and bigotry in our country, it is important that those who stand on the side of love be heard. All are welcome at this interfaith gathering.
