Boeing Air Show Schedule: Includes Blue Angels and 787 Dreamliner (photos)

[nggallery id=38] The Blue Angels are my favorite part of Seafair. There's nothing quite like the thrill of catching a glimpse of one of the Blues streak overhead, with the thunder of its engines soon to follow. Each year, we find ourselves a good vantage point for the big air show, usually it at the end of the dock such at the one at Marsh Park or at a park along the shores of Lake Washington.

This year, the Boeing Airshow will feature a flyover by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Such events are rare, and always invoke the lore of "Tex" Johnston. In 1955 The Boeing Company flew an experimental airplane called the Boeing 707 over the Seafair Gold Cup Hydroplane Races. On this infamous day "Tex" Johnston performed a barrel rolled in the 707 over Lake Washington to the delight of fans.
