Kirkland Now and Then
The long awaited Kirkland Home Tour, “Now and Then”, premiers Saturday, September 17 from 10-4:00. Tickets are on sale now. Enjoy a chance to see four historic homes and three LEED certified or built green properties.
The historic Marsh Mansion, two 1930’s log houses, and one of the original 1889 homes built by Peter Kirk’s Kirkland Land & Improvement Company make up the “Then” part of the tour. The “Now” part will feature the new Farmhouses at Juanita; Areté Artist Studios - a LEED Platinum certified property (on the site of the former Crab Cracker restaurant); and a John Buchan home which is five star built green.
The Kirkland Performance Center and Kirkland Heritage Society are beneficiaries of the tour.
