A felony search warrant was served last night in the 13700 block of 116th Ave NE. The warrant was a result of a domestic violence assault investigation during which suspect Gordon assaulted a female with a handgun, threatened to kill the victim and then fired the handgun inside the residence. As the victim fled the area the suspect fired the handgun at her vehicle, striking it once. During the ensuing investigation the police department learned that on several occasions the suspect has fired guns inside the residence and also fired a gun at other individuals at the home. Due to the inherent concern for community safety and the suspect’s dangerous behavior, SWAT officers served the warrant. The officers called into the home but received no response. The officers executed the warrant, searching the home in a careful and methodical fashion. The suspect was not located in the residence and Kirkland Detectives are presently collecting evidence at the home and actively following leads as to his whereabouts.
