Volunteers are gathering along the Cross Kirkland Corridor to remove invasive plants and you are invited to join the team!
Saturday, July 16
8 to 11 am
Meet behind Chainline Brewing at 503 6th St. S.
If you arrive after 8, look for us on the stretch of trail between 6th St. S. and the Google campus
- Bring small pruning saws, heavy duty loppers, and water (I'll have a few extra tools)
- Wear long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes, and gloves
- We will be clearing around holly trees and limbing them to prepare for stem injection by city staff in the fall. We will also remove other invasive plants we find, such as scotch broom, butterfly bush, and Canada thistle.
This is a great way to get connected with your community!
